Product Description

Simpson Strong-Tie® Quick-Lock® pier wheels are designed to properly position a reinforcing steel cage in a drilled shaft with a concrete cover requirement, but also work for other applications where concrete cover must be maintained. The unique one-piece design installs in a snap! All Quick-Lock® pier wheel products are made of durable, noncorrosive plastic.

Installation

  • Installation is achieved by simply placing the open wheel over the transverse circle-tie, spiral or stirrup and snapping it closed until it locks. Unless otherwise specified on plans, typical spacing is 7 to 10 feet on center longitudally and at a maximum of 90 degrees from each wheel on the same transverse bar.
